In 2020, Paul Miniutti started The Analytics Platform, which focuses on helping school districts cost-effectively implement a data strategy to analyze student data with the technology available in their Google Domain.

Indemnification

Severability

The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the courts located in Massachusetts, United States, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.
Assignment
You may not assign, resell, sub-license or otherwise transfer or delegate any of your rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent, which consent shall be at our own sole discretion and without obligation; any such assignment or transfer shall be null and void. We are free to assign any of its rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, to any third party as part of the sale of all or substantially all of its assets or stock or as part of a merger.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its terms related to the Website and Services at any time at our discretion. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Dr. Susan Lyons is the owner and Principal Consultant at Lyons Assessment Consulting. She is the author of more than 40 journal articles and white papers and frequently presents her work at national conferences. In addition to her consulting work, Dr. Lyons is a part-time faculty member at Boston College and is the Executive Director of a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing gender and racial equity in educational measurement, Women in Measurement.
Dr. Jeri Thompson is a Consultant with Lyons Assessment Consulting. She combines her knowledge of educational systems to provide support for instruction, curriculum, assessments and accountability purposes. She has spent 40 years in public education, part-time faculty at universities in Maryland and Rhode Island, and at the Center for Assessment. Dr. Thompson’s desire is for all students to engage in high quality and equitable instruction and assessment practices.
Dr. Olasumbo Oluwalana is a Consultant with Lyons Assessment Consulting. Sumbo earned her doctorate in Educational Statistics & Measurement from Rutgers University and has over ten years of experience working in assessment development and teacher licensure/certification. Her interests include access and equity in education, and the intersection between assessment research and practice.
Dr. Jordan Lawson is a Senior Associate with Lyons Assessment Consulting, a research software engineer for Brown University, and a research affiliate of the School Effectiveness and Inequality Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His primary research interests include school access and equity, causal inference, and building robust computational tools to support applied researchers. Dr. Lawson's driving mission for his work is to promote a more equitable society by using technology and statistics for social good.
Dr. Hannah Denker is a Postdoctoral Associate with Lyons Assessment Consulting and a Fellow at the University of Virginia. Hannah's firsthand experience teaching in the primary grades was the motivation to pursue policy research related to improving the quality of early education experiences. Her current research looks at how different pre-K environments affect learning and child outcomes.
Dr. Clarissa Deverel-Rico is a Postdoctoral Associate with Lyons Assessment Consulting and a Postdoctoral Researcher at BSCS Science Learning. Clarissa was a middle school science teacher before pursuing a doctorate in STEM education. Her research interests are located at the intersection of science learning, assessment, and equity; seeing assessment as a central part of designing learning environments that start with students.
Sam Ihlenfeldt is a Research Associate with Lyons Assessment Consulting and doctoral student at the University of Minnesota. Sam is passionate about improving communication around assessment and is actively engaged in research at local, state, and industry levels. With a keen interest in creating more equitable educational systems, Sam's work contributes to the advancement of effective testing methodologies and empowers stakeholders in the field.
Maddie Criag is an essential part of the Lyons Assessment Consulting team and expertly handles all of our bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting needs. Maddie is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and specializes in helping service-based small businesses mange their finances.
Autumn Branch provides administrative support services for Lyons Assessment Consulting. Autumn is also a Program Manager at the American Hospital Association. Prior to entering the field of program management, Autumn spent six years as a high school science educator. Autumn is passionate about ensuring equitable access to education and healthcare for marginalized people.
